Welcome to the website of Alpine Trekking. Let’ start with a quick introduction….
We are Ian and Seb. You can learn a little more about us here. Having both spent a lot of time in the mountains around Annecy (and loved every minute of it), we decided to share some of the experinces we have had.
In short, this website is designed to do nothing more than what is suggested above. That is, to provide a comprehensive database of alpine treks, suitable for all levels of ability and interest. To be clear, we are NOT selling anything – we are not guides (although we are working on it!) and we do not work for any tour company. Please feel free to use the info here at your leisure. We suggest you take a look here at some general info that apply to all of the trekking itinieraries that we have available on this site.
